The Youths of Nigeria seems to unfortunately not yet to be aware of their worth. They don’t even realize their worth. It is so pathetic and sad.
There is no society that progress without the contribution of the Youths.
No country can achieve her goals without positively utilizing her Youths.
No elections are won without the contribution of the Youths.
No elections is rigged without Youths.
That’s to say no leader can emerge democratically without the contribution of the Youths, but yet they are normally pushed to the bottom of the fit after been used when the elections are won.
If one look and analyze the scenarios, you will easily believe with me that THERE WILL BE NO SOCIETY IF THERE ARE NO YOUTHS, but unfortunately our Youths do not realize this their potentials.
Almost all of our Youths allow themselves to be used freely without any written or unwritten agreement. I said this because most of the times they negotiate and sell their values and future for peanuts or in some cases with tablets of drugs and Indian hemp, and after the elections they will be ignored and abandoned. Sometimes, you will find them making unnecessary noises. But the question is:
WHAT IS REALLY WRONG AND WHOSE FAULT?
Please help me answer the above question.
The Situation:
In political fights, that mostly involved the big wigs, you will always find healthy able bodied Youths brandishing dangerous weapons mostly attacking themselves, wounding and killing themselves by themselves, case study – .Kano Gandujiyya Vs Kwankwasiyya. The most pathetic aspect of this was that the dangerous weapons were being brandished by our able Youths of between the ages of 15 – 30 years, an age bracket that were supposed to be at various stages of their studies. And another annoying and saddening aspect was that none of the Youths was a child of even a councillor talk less of the children of the bigwigs who must be currently cooling their ass in foreign countries or inside their Daddies lavish homes. But unfortunately, these Young promising Youths could not really understand that they are just the TOOLS TO USE IN TIMES OF POLITICAL NEEDS AND MOSTLY FOR VARIOUS WRONG REASONS AND WHEN IT IS OVER THEIR LIVES BECOME SHATTERED AND USELESS EVEN TO THEMSELVES TALK LESS OF THE SOCIETY.
It is really saddening that this happenings become a routine but yet the Youths cannot for once look through themselves to realize and ask themselves questions like:
WHERE ARE THEIR CHILDREN?
WHY US?
WHAT HAPPEN TO OUR FUTURE?
WHY CAN’T THEY TAKE UP THE WEAPONS THEMSELVES OR INCLUDE THEIR CHILDREN TO GO ALONG WITH US?
Our Youths must really do some hard and deep thinking here, you must understand that you are being used as TOOLS TO DESTROY YOUR OWN FUTURE AND PROSPECTS. THE EARLIER YOU REALIZE THAT THEY ARE USING AND WILL LATER ON PASS YOU TO THEIR CHILDREN FOR THE SAME PURPOSE SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU ARE SO USELESS TO NOT REALIZE THAT HOOLIGANISM DO NOT HAVE CERTIFICATE THE BETTER FOR YOU.
When you look hard around you, you will sadly find that you are the only one killing Yourselves by Yourselves while their own are looking at you through the glasses of their windows laughing at your senseless behaviors and attitudes.
MY DEAR YOUTHS, YOU ARE UNFORTUNATELY ‘THE TOOLS TO USE AND THE VICTIMS AS WELL’.
So Sad, but so Real as well.
May almighty Allah open your eyes to this reality, Amin.
