ELECTIONS PETITIONS TRIBUNAL THROWS OUT TAKORI’S PETITION AGAINST GOVERNOR MATAWALLE

His Excellency, Zamfara State Executive Governor Hon. Dr. Bello Mohammed MON (Matawallen Maradun) has again hailed the Nigerian judiciary over its determination to dispense its sworn assignment with the fairness its deserves.

Matawallen Maradun made his position known after today’s ruling by the Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja which throws out the petition earlier filed by Mohammed Sani Takori the APDA governorship candidate in the 2019 governorship election in Zamfara challenging the May 24, 2019 Supreme Court Ruling which declared governor Bello Matawalle as the winner of Zamfara governorship election in the 2019 polls.

The governor who expressed happiness over the ruling noted that his administration will continue to count on all Zamfara citizens for their support and prayers as he strives to bring an all encompassing dividends of democracy to them which has not been so in the past.

He then appealed to well meaning citizens of the state to continue to rally round his administration so that he can meet their yearnings.

The Barden Hausa re-echoed his promise not to fail the good people of the state individually or collectively.
