The leadership of G13 Tinubu/Abba has paid a strategic familiarisation visit to the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA), Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar, in a move aimed at strengthening collaboration on public communication and amplifying awareness of key government initiatives in Kano State.
The delegation, led by its Chairman, Hon. Danladi Mai Bulala, described the engagement as part of a broader effort to deepen synergy between critical stakeholders and government institutions in advancing people-oriented programmes, particularly within the health sector.
Addressing the Executive Secretary, Hon. Mai Bulala commended KSCHMA’s remarkable strides under Dr. Muktar’s leadership, noting that the Agency has continued to expand contributory healthcare coverage, strengthen institutional frameworks, and enhance access to affordable, quality healthcare services for residents across the State. He emphasised that beyond effective policy implementation, strategic communication remains central to ensuring that citizens are adequately informed, properly guided, and motivated to actively participate in government-driven initiatives.
He further stated that G13 Tinubu/Abba recognises the pivotal role of structured communication frameworks in shaping public perception, managing narratives responsibly, and consolidating citizens’ confidence in governance. According to him, the association is committed to complementing the government’s communication architecture through advocacy, grassroots mobilisation, and the accurate dissemination of information relating to public policies and social intervention programmes.
In recognition of her visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to healthcare reform, and dedication to inclusive service delivery, the association formally conferred on Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar the honorary title of Grand Patron of G13 Tinubu/Abba. The appointment, the delegation noted, reflects its confidence in her capacity to provide guidance, strategic insight, and institutional support in advancing people-centred initiatives.
In her response, Dr. Muktar expressed profound appreciation for the visit and the honour bestowed upon her. She reaffirmed KSCHMA’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and sustained public engagement in the implementation of contributory healthcare policies across Kano State. She highlighted the Agency’s ongoing efforts to broaden enrolment, particularly among vulnerable and underserved populations, in alignment with the State Government’s vision of equitable access to healthcare services.
The Executive Secretary further underscored that effective stakeholder collaboration remains pivotal to achieving universal health coverage at the state level. She noted that partnerships built on shared responsibility and credible information dissemination are essential in deepening public trust, encouraging enrolment, and sustaining the gains recorded in the health sector.
