Police spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest to Taskira Magazine.
He said the motorcyclists were arrested in Dutse for the offence of disobedience to an order duly promulgated by the state government.
Taskira Magazine earlier reported that the Jigawa State Government had ordered restrictions in the movement of motorcycles from 9 pm to 6 am across the state.
The aim is to checkmate the activities of criminals in the state.
He said all the motorcyclists were charged to court and sentenced to three months imprisonment with the option of fine.
The command however noted that the restriction order still remains valid, advising the general public to abide by the order.
