Philanthropist Sponsors Girls for Computer Training in Kano

A Kano based philanthropist and youth empowerment advocate Ambassador Yunusa Hamza sponsored girls for a special computer training.

Speaking during graduation ceremony ceremony at the trainees, Amb. Yunusa said he was motivated by need to promote the status of women and girls in Kano.

He stated that the training was aimed at equipping the girls with meet the present’s day challenges of life for resilience and self reliance.

“We will have to change the mindset of the new generation of girls as such, promoting them to adopt the culture digital age became necessary”

In his response, the representative of Yakasai community where the beneficiary came from, Malam Umar Muhammad Yakasai appreciated the gesture on behalf of the community.
