Zamfara: Governor Elect Appoints Yari’s Deputy Wakkala Chairman Transition Committee

Information reaching Taskira Magazine from Gusau, confirms that His Excellency Matawalle Governor Elect Zamfara State has appointed His Excellency Malam Ibrahim Wakkala the Outgoing Deputy Governor to head the just constituted Transition Committee.

You may recall that the chairman Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Professor Yakubu yesterday at a press conference after two day emergency meeting on the ruling of the Supreme Court that nullifies the vote scored by APC at just concluded general election in the Zamfara State, he announced that the PDP is now the winner of all the elections starting from Senate, Governorship, House of Reps to State Assembly being the second position in the election.

The chairman added that he will present Certificate of Return to all the winners on Monday 27th May 2019.
