Yesterday Saturday 28th December 2024, marks a colorful event day to celebrate their 30 years Anniversary leaving the school, the Chairman of the Chapter Associate Professor Lawan B. Abdullahi who is a medical doctor working with Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano, in His speech appreciates all the members for making the day a reality, he added that the enormous contributions by members overtime enables the organizing committee to come-up with a number of projects which consume the total amount of N13 million, the projects includes Upgrade of the school Solar Power to Classes, Renovation of Mosque, purchase of 100 Qur’an and other Islamic Books, Equipping Library with 100 Physics Text Books, 100 Biology Text Books, 100 Chemistry Text Books, Same for Mathematics and English; He further pray that the school will make good use of items provided.
Earlier, in their speeches the past principals and teachers of the college who serve as special to guests of the event Alh. Tijjani Abdullahi, Alh. Sani Aminu, Mal Ali Usman, Mal Mahmoud, Mal Abdullahi, appreciate the invitation and honor giving to them to attend this memorable event, they also congratulate members for making it to see the day and urge them to stay united and continue to help one another and always assist the families of the deceased members.
Alh. Kabiru Dalha who represents the National President of KASSOSA congratulates the members for making it to see the day, he urges members to be participating in National events so that the association will continue to become stronger and he also appreciates the projects done by the Chapter and Pray that the school makes good use of them.
The school Director who made the closing remarks, appreciate the members for effort in contributing money to make all the projects possible, he added that among all the KASSOSA chapters of the school he has never seen a chapter with good initiatives such as Class 94 chapter, they spend the highest amount ever and they touched the areas that are almost forgotten. He prays that may Allah reward everyone.
The event ended with presentations of Awards to all the special guests and some members. Memorial photographs of old classmates and hotel mates were taken before departure from the event.
