GOV. BELLO MATAWALLE HAS APPROVED WHITE PAPER DRAFTING COMMITTEES ON CIVIL SERVICE RESTRUCTURING AND HALAL HOTEL, ABUJA.

His Excellency, Zamfara State Executive Governor Hon Dr. Bello Mohammed MON (Matawallen Maradun) has approved the constitution of two white paper drafting committees on the restructuring of the State Civil Service and the Zamfara State owned Halal Hotel, Abuja.

The white paper drafting committee on the State Civil Service Restructuring is to be headed by Alhaji Yusuf Auta as chairman while Alhaji Ibrahim Suleiman and Dr Ibrahim Umar Dodo will serve as members

Similarly, the Halal Hotel white Paper committee is to be headed by Alhaji Ibrahim Bagobiri as Chairman while Alhaji Isah Mohammed Moriki and Alhaji Aliyu Mohammed Anka will serve as members.

The two committees are expected to summit the draft white papers for implementation within two weeks.

It will be recalled that the Governor has at several occasions promised to make the state’s civil service the most vibrant in the country that other states will copy.

The Governor has also since questioned how the state owned Halal Hotel, Abuja was being ran and promised to review it for the benefits of the state and its good citizens.

Governor Matawalle said his administration’s decision to appoint the committees was to ensure the implementation of most of the recommendations made in their report on the restructuring of the State Civil Service and the Halal Hotel , Abuja for the purpose of developing the State.

He said the composition of the committees was carefully selected based on the members’ track records of service.

He noted that all of them are seasoned Administrators and technocrats who meritoriously and creditably served the State in various capacities.

Earlier the Governor had received a report on the two committees chaired by the former Secretary to Zamfara State Government, Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Nahuche at Governor’s office mini chamber and promised to carefully study the report for effective implementation of some of the recommendations towards a better Service delivery in the State.

He also thanked members of the committees for a job well done and asked for their continued support and cooperation for his administration to succeed.

Presenting the two reports to the Governor, Alhaji Yusuf Auta and Alhaji Ibrahim Suleiman on behalf of the committee Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Nahuche thanked the Governor for finding them worthy to do the work and explained that the committee reviewed the State scheme of Service, public service rules, civil service guidelines for appointment, promotion, discipline and retirement among others and came up with some important recommendations to the government for possible implementation.

The report presentation was attended by the Chief of Staff Government House, Col Bala Mande rtd, State Head of Service, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe and all the committee members except the chairman, Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Nahuche who was represented.
