PDP Members Asked to Boycott the Issuance of Certificate of Return in Kano for Security Reasons

By Sunusi Bature

We have a serious concern over the selection of venue for issuance of certificate of return to our State Assembly Members elect.

“There should be a neutral ground for the exercise, PDP members are not safe in the venue selected which is indoor stadium of Kofar Mata sports complex”

PDP has written to INEC requesting for change of venue to maitain neutrality as it happened previously in both 2011 and 2015.

We asked our members to boycott the exercise till INEC responded on our request, its unfortunate that the electoral umpire has turned itself to a more or less an arm of Kano State Government and the ruling APC.
