The Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, is scheduled to chair the 53rd Meeting of the Mediation and Security Council of the ECOWAS Commission which will hold at the ECOWAS Commission, Asokoro, Abuja on Wednesday, 11th December 2024
He is also to preside over the 93rd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers that is scheduled for Thursday 12th and Friday 13th December 2024.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.
“The sessions are expected to deliberate on issues that will foster development, peace and security, and as well as good governance in the sub-region.” it stated
From the approved calendar of coming events, the meeting of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS is expected to follow with the Sixty-Sixth (66TH) Ordinary Session in Abuja on Sunday 15th of Dec 2024.
