1- Engr Abubakar Kabir Abubakar was born on 2nd October, 1981 at Hagagawa quarters of Bichi town. The headquarters of Bichi local government as well as the headquarters of the Bichi emirate of Kano state.
2- His father was a one-time member of the Kano State House of Assembly, member of the Kano State Executive Council as commissioner during Sabo Bakinzuwo’s administration and that of governor Ibrahim Shekarau.
3- His grandfather and great-grandfather were Sarakuna of Bichi during their lifetime.
4- He attended prestigious Hagagawa Primary School, Bichi, Government Junior Secondary School Bichi and Dawakin Tofa Science College for his Senior Secondary School Certificate. He has a bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the New York Institute of Technology and a Masters Degree in energy management from same university.
5- He joined politics around 2018 and was elected to the House of Representatives to represent Bichi Federal Constituency. At the National Assembly, he sponsored to bills;
✓ a bill for the establishment of a University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Bichi, 2021
✓ a bill for the establishment of the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation (Establishment) Bill, 2021.
6- He chaired House Committee on works during the Nineth Assembly, and now is nominated to chair the House Committee on Appropriation in the Tenth Assembly.
7- In his constituency, he operates and sponsors free education to all tertiary institution students in Bichi Federal Constituency. More than ten thousands students are benefitting from his kind gesture and are studying freely under his foundation.
8- He networked the entire constituency with tarred roads. Almost all the villages from home his road projects and I will like one to visit the constituency to see for himself.
9- He constructed numerous classrooms in Bichi town and many rural areas to allow the dwellers access to primary education.
10- He empowered many youths to build businesses and develop their skills to become entrepreneurs.
11- He is a philosophist, politician and business mogul who runs different companies and businesses.
