Member representing Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency, Kabiru Amadu Mai-Palace has reiterated commitment to implement good policies in his constituency, stressing the need for peaceful coexistence to accelerate the development and welfare of his people.
Mai Palace made this known during a maiden Town Hall meeting organized on Saturday 12th October, 2019 at the NYSC Camp, Tsafe Local Council.
“I have noted that this constituency I represents at National Assembly is bedevilled with problems of roads construction, lack of schools in our schools, healthcare facilities and unemployment amongst youths, but I urge you to put your hands on deck and work together to achieve the solutions we all crave for in our towns.”
Mai Palace who tasked other federal lawmakers in Nigeria to establish an avenue of listening to their subjects in their constituencies, said the town hall meeting is aimed at exchanging of ideas between himself as their representative and the people.
He also called upon Governor Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun of Zamfara State to keep prioritizing on the developmental projects to the citizens, assuring that they will the rest to bring back the glory of the state.
Also speaking at the function, Zamfara state governor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle, represented by the Secretary to Zamfara State Government, Alhaji Bala Bello Maru, commended the lawmaker for organizing the town hall meeting, urging the people of Gusau/Tsafe to render all necessary support to their leaders so that development can be achieved.
He however highlighted the efforts of governor Matawalle’s led-administration in bringing developmental projects to the state.
Keynote speaker at the event, Ghazali Shehu, who is the Senior Special Assistant to governor Matawalle, said Gusau/Tsafe constituency had produced a well focused lawmaker who deserves accolades for doing what no politician has ever dine in the history of Nigeria.
Dozens of local ward chairmen also spoke on different sectors revealing the challenges, complaints and possible solutions to them.
The event, which was graced by Zamfara State Deputy Speaker, Alhaji Musa Bawa, Chairmen Parties, trusties and hundreds of people.
